because my parents nor the rest of their Chinese friends literally do not give a fuck

i guess even if they knew what it was, they would not spend their time moping on a blog about the actions of a stranger. i guess they have to worry too much about their kids or chores or something.

i’m not saying some forms of cultural appropriation are wrong, but i would love to see someone who cares so much who wasn’t educated either through college and its atmosphere or playing Chinese whispers (lol) from the internet

and if you asked my parents and their friends what they really wanted in terms of race relations, i guess they would say better job opportunities for their kids and less racial discrimination at college admissions (which is something that does happen). but they must be “deluded”; they don’t know what they really want.

now whenever anything remotely social justicey gets bought up on the internet, people dismiss it as "tumblr crap"
